Delete a project
As a project owner, you can follow the steps inCreate, shut down, and restore projectsto delete your projects. Shutting down a project stops all billing, trafficserving and shuts down any GCP products within the project. Allproject data associated withGCP and Google APIs services becomes inaccessible.

Before closing your projects or accounts, you shouldbackup any data or applications that you want to retain. After you havesuccessfully protected your data, you can proceed with deleting the project.Close a billing account
To close a billing account, follow the steps inCreate, Modify, or Close Your Billing Account.Note that billing accounts cannot be deleted for accounting and regulatoryreasons, but can be reopened should the need arise. After you close your billingaccount, we will bill you for the usage you accrued prior to cancelling yourservice. This bill will be the last bill you receive, unless you reactivateservice.
Cancel GCP Support
How you cancel GCP Support depends on your organization or your type of billingaccount, as described in the following sections.
Cancel invoiced billing accounts
Regardless of the support package you have, if your account has invoiced billing,to cancel your support account you need to file aGCP Support caseto request the cancellation. If you have a contact in the Google Cloud Platform team,please also inform them about the cancellation.
Cancel Role-Based Support
You can cancel Role-Based Support directly from the GCP Console bychanging any paid role to Basic, our view-only, free Support option. Thiscancels technical support for that role, but you are still liable for anycharges related to the 30-day minimum commitment per role.
Users with Basic support will no longer be able to create technical supportcases. Powershell check if file exists. As always, any role can continue to use free Billing support andself-help resources.
Cancel Enterprise Support
To cancel Enterprise Support, you can use the Google Cloud Platform Console tofile a GCP Support case requesting thecancellation. The Support team will work with you to cancel your supportpackage. Cancellation fees might apply.
Cancel Silver and Gold Support
If you have Silver or Gold Support and you pay by credit or debit card, you cancancel your support account from the GCP Console by downgradingyour support option to Bronze, a free, read-only option. If you have aninvoiced Gold or Silver account, please review How to cancel Supporton invoiced billing accounts.
Cancel Platinum Support
If you have Platinum Support, you can useGoogle Cloud Support Centerto file a GCP Support case requesting the cancellation. The Support team willwork with you to cancel your support package. Cancellation fees might apply.
Cancel GCP Support for a Reseller account
If you are a reseller who wants to cancel your support account, you need tocontact Partner Program Support.
