7 Days To Die Leather Armor

There's a variety of light armors, and a light armor skill, and the 'best' light armor usually takes advancing in tanning and leatherworking skills. The problem is that light armor isn't advantageous in the game, at all. I'm wondering if I'm the only one who thinks it should give a small (5%?) movement buff, stamina regen buff, or range-of-zombie-detection buff. Other than role-playing, there's no reason to get leatherworking high and walk around in a badass suit of custom-made leather armor... but there SHOULD BE. How cool would it be if you suited up in the slower, bulkier, heavy armor to wreck shit on horde night, but you slid into your stealthy leather armor to do a sneaky city loot run, travel a longer distance, or stay out after dark? Lately I've been ignoring leatherworking and even armor smithing because eventually I'll find military armor and never wear anything else again. Options are fun!
